Listed Square One Solutions' earnings have plummeted in the half year to June.

In a Stock Exchange News announcement, the IT company says earnings and headline earnings per share are expected to be 200% lower than last year.

Last year, earnings per share were down dramatically to 0.4c, from 8.2c at the 2007 half year. Headline earnings per share also dropped to 0.4c, from 7.1c.

Square One has been embroiled in two liquidation suits, one brought against the company by Agang Cabling Solutions, and one brought by it against Choice Technologies, in which Square One claimed it was owed R2.8 million. CEO Craig Alexander resigned earlier this month.

Companies are required by JSE rules to shareholders once they are that earnings compared with the previous corresponding period will differ by 20%.

Square One is expected to report its results today.
