Teradata (NYSE:TDC), the leading analytic data platforms, marketing applications and consulting services company, today announced that the Chief Marketing Officer for its marketing applications offerings, Lisa Arthur, has been named by the Sales Lead Management Association (SLMA) as one of 20 "Women to Watch" in 2014.
This is the third time in four years that SLMA has recognised Arthur with this top industry honour, which identifies the most influential women in Sales Lead management. Arthur was noted for her guidance, inspiration, teaching and leadership around data-driven marketing.
She has harnessed this knowledge in a new book for C-level executives and marketers titled, "Big Data Marketing; Engage Your Customers More Effectively to Drive Value" (WILEY), which presents a timely and provocative approach to overcoming big-data chaos, and driving measurable value from data-driven insights.
"I'm proud of the work Teradata is doing to support our customers' sales and marketing efforts by helping them increase the value of their data and customer relationships through data-driven marketing solutions," Arthur commented. "Being recognised by SLMA as a leader validates both our marketplace vision and leadership, and is an honour for our entire organization because it encourages us to stay the course in helping companies improve marketing performance to drive top-line growth."
Ron Goodman, SLMA's VP of Business Development said: "We take pleasure in recognising the leadership of those nominated, as well as Lisa and all those who were chosen by a panel of judges. The '20 Women to Watch in Sales Lead Management' and their photos, appear on the SLMA site."
