Top Layer rolls out two new affordable security appliances to boost security in minutes

Duxbury Networking, sole vendor representative of Top Layer Networks locally and provider of integrated networking solutions announces the launch of the Top Layer Attack Mittigator and IDS Balancer that deliver affordable, plug-and-play solutions boosting the overall effectiveness of a network`s security within minutes.

Graham Vorster, Chief Technology Officer at Duxbury says the appliances are designed to help companies ensure that their security infrastructure can keep pace with increasing bandwidth and throughput demands and a host of new cyber threats, without sacrificing performance or interfering with legitimate traffic.

He says the Attack Mittigator and IDS Balancer offer customers easy access to the power of Top Layer`s fine grain traffic management technology to solve specific security needs.

The Top Layer appliances provide a simple way for customers to protect both their security investments and their networks. Specifically, the IDS Balancer spreads individual application flows from high-speed connections across a number of intrusion detection system (IDS) engines to ensure that intrusion detection does not miss critical intrusions.

The Attack Mittigator serves as an added layer of protection that is more effective than traditional firewalls at stopping Denial of Service (DoS), Distributed Denial of Serve (DDoS) and worm attacks from bringing down a company`s Internet connection.
