Unisys, EMC expand
Unisys has expanded its alliance with EMC to jointly market EMC Documentum, a unified enterprise content management software platform, says Money Control.
The global cross-industry agreement enables Unisys to expand its team of Documentum-certified consultants who implement and deploy EMC enterprise content management solutions.
The expansion of these Documentum services strengthens Unisys's market position and worldwide portfolio of enterprise content management solutions built on best-in-class products from Unisys and its partners.
Newgen gets recognition
Newgen Software Technologies has been recognised as an innovator in the enterprise content management (ECM) report update by Bloor research, reports Money Control.
The report on ECM provides a snapshot of the leading players in the ECM market.

Oracle eases search
Oracle has developed archiving solutions for customers concerned with compliance issues as well as those needing to search through an expanding number of data types, states Internet News.
Both Oracle's Universal Online Archive and E-mail Archive Service are set for release this year.
"As we've been talking to customers in the content management space, for a variety of reasons including compliance and search, a lot of them are looking to Oracle to really scale these systems to meet new demands," says Andy MacMillan, an Oracle executive for the company's content management line.
