Syrex, a specialist in the installation and support of various different network infrastructures, today announced its carrier-agnostic, white-labelled, multi-site connectivity solutions.
"Too many users are locked into a carrier and/or an ISP from a networking perspective," commented Ralph Berndt of Syrex, "and are unable to take advantage of the many value-added services that are available in the market, such as physical server hosting, virtual server hosting, VOIP interconnect and NAPAfrica's content delivery capability.
"We partner with most, if not all, of the major carriers and ISPs; have an established wholesale agreement with Telkom SA; as well as hold a national ECS/ECNS licence from ICASA," continued Berndt. "As a result, we are able to build networks that users require that either they themselves can control or we can host and/or maintain for them. This, for example, could include providing a fully-managed turnkey client-side and core switching environment with the relevant firewalls or the option by users to provide their own client-side capabilities.
"There are many advantages to our solutions, such as the lack of a lock-in to a specific carrier; flexibility in terms of each site in a multi-site situation not necessarily having to be configured similarly; access to all our partners as appropriate; access to a host of value-added services; the ability for users to determine their own future going forward without vendor constraints; the ability to configure last mile circuits; and naturally, a cost-effect outcome," concluded Berndt. "We are the one partner who is able to access all the carriers and/or ISPs. Now is the time for organisations to unlock their dependency on any of them and take advantage of having a network that is aligned with, and is capable of, handling their current and future business needs, rather than being forced to 'fit in' with what someone else dictates."
