Verizon launches online billing platform

Verizon Business multinational customers now have a more convenient way to view, monitor and analyse their expenses, with the company's introduction of Global Billing Report, says Fox Business.

Customers can use this tool, available at no cost through the Verizon Enterprise Center, to view worldwide communications expenses online in both the original billed currency and another currency selected by the customer.

Global Billing Report is immediately available, and a number of customers headquartered in Europe, Asia and the US are currently using the tool to manage their worldwide billing information.

eDLink is developing an e-mail marketing software platform with content management system (CMS) capabilities, reports TMCnet.

"Today customers are more IT savvy than in the past. With the newly introduced CMS-enabled electronic direct mailer application, customers may now create their own list of subscribers, design newsletters and send out the HTML newsletters any time they like", said Byon Ong, IT manager of eDLink.

As unsolicited bulk e-mail sending is not legal in Singapore, many local companies are not able to reach potential customers as most do not have a large list of subscribers, according to the company. eDLink customers may tap on a large database of voluntary subscribers provided by eDLink, company officials say.

Mitratech, a provider of software solutions for organisations to manage legal, compliance, and security risks, has announced a session entitled, "Collaborati: Case Studies in e-Billing," to be presented at Mitratech's Interact 2008: The Legal and Compliance Technology Forum, according to Earth Times.
