Visual tool ensures compliance
The European Network and Information Agency has produced the first detailed, fully searchable visualisation and overview of process models which demonstrate the interrelations between corporate risk management and operational processes, says eGov Monitor.
The aim is to provide clear guidance to large and medium business on the execution and integration of IT risk management.
This tool will reduce risks, and give a better quality of global and local risk management/operational IT processes. Finally, this tool can lead to better compliance with corporate risk management regulations.
DIR signs Critical Watch
Critical Watch, a provider of security risk management and compliance solutions, has signed a contract for security services with the state of Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) under its GoDIRect Programme, states Earth Times.
This agreement extends for three years and provides vulnerability management capability for all state agencies, educational institutions, local governments an other state-related entities seeking to proactively manage risk and maintain audit readiness.
