Aspect Software has appointed David Herzog as senior VP and GM of the Voxeo business unit.
The company says, in his new role, Herzog will lead the Voxeo business unit, its technology and people assets, to drive a growth agenda that accelerates Aspect's cloud services and lays the groundwork for future innovative hosted solutions.
According to Chris Koziol, president and GM of interaction management at Aspect, Herzog's leadership and expertise will help accelerate Aspect's solutions in a market that is undergoing a relationship revolution, as consumers shift their interaction with service providers to self-service transactions over wireless devices and across channels, wherever and whenever they choose.
"I am confident that, with David's dedication and experience, we will continue to build on Aspect and Voxeo's success, and grow the business through our focus on customer obsession and innovation," says Koziol.
Herzog, an18-year Aspect senior leader, most recently served as senior VP of Aspect Professional Services (APS), responsible for APS' worldwide capabilities, processes and people. Prior to that, he held the position of VP of APS for North America, where he led implementation services, solution consulting and innovation, and staff augmentation for Aspect customers, says Aspect.
