Workshare unveils open architecture
Workshare announced WorkshareOpen, a platform that allows independent software vendors (ISVs), system integrators, value-added resellers (VARs) and enterprise IT departments to easily integrate Workshare's comparison technology with other business solutions, reports Itreselleronline.
The company also announced its first three technology OEM partners, Upside Software, QUMAS, and Cryptzone; and two integration partners, Softlinx and Gimmal, that will use WorkshareOpen to leverage Workshare's functionality within their applications.
At the core of the WorkshareOpen platform is Workshare's DeltaView Engine, which compares documents, analyses their contents, discovers sensitive information, suggests or enforces appropriate remediation, and provides an audit trail to help enforce corporate policies.
