Yahoo hits technical glitches
Various Yahoo Web sites and services have faltered for the second time in less than a week as it works to fix a hardware failure, Wired reports.
The latest glitch - described by the Internet company as an "isolated hardware-related issue" - left some users unable to log onto Yahoo`s instant messaging program.
Problems were also reported on Yahoo`s upgraded e-mail service, which was introduced recently to compete with Google`s gmail.

High-speed wireless connectivity will soon be available to Aeroplane passengers in Asia.
According to Yahoo, Singapore Airlines, All Nippon Airways and Japan Airlines plan to roll-out airborne Internet services over the next six months.
Passengers will be able to access the Internet on wireless-ready laptops at speeds comparable to those at home or in the office. Airlines will also have the option to offer wired connections using Ethernet cables.
The wireless offering will be achieved by a partnership with Connexion by Boeing, an information services unit of US aircraft builder Boeing.
Costs are expected to be about $8 (R50) for 30 minutes.

IBM has unveiled an e-mail service designed to stop viruses and spam before they get inside a company`s network, ZDNet reports.
Unveiled on Friday, IBM said the E-mail Security Management Services technology would monitor inbound and outbound messages outside of a company`s network to help prevent the uncontrolled distribution of harmful and unwanted content.
The cost of the product is varied, and will be determined according to a company`s computing set-up and other factors worked out with IBM. The service is available now worldwide.
