Telkom has posted an 8.8% increase in group revenue to R40.795 million and a 39.5% growth in operating profit to R9.088 million for the year ended 31 March 2004.
Vodacom has reported revenue growth of 18.7% to R23.5 billion and an operational profit increase of 20.9% to R5.2 billion for the year ended 31 March 2004.
Vodacom`s revenue jumped by 18.7% to R23.5 billion in the past financial year.
Last week saw Vodacom withdraw its management contract with Vee Networks and the communications minister grant four underserviced area licences.
