Network Associates, a provider of intrusion prevention solutions, has announced the shipment of McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator version 3.0, a security policy management tool for the enterprise and SMB markets. The product has the ability to push updates to as many as 50 000 systems in an hour or less, and is scalable to 250 000 nodes per server.

Lending to the success of the McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator 3.0 is an extensive beta testing program that was conducted over a five-month period and involved more than 1 500 customers worldwide. The beta version was implemented by some of today`s leading companies, including Ticketmaster and UBS.
