Duxbury Networking scoops international social media marketing award

Cambium Networks, the global provider of wireless broadband solutions, has named one of its South African distribution partners, Duxbury Networking, as its Social Media Award winner for Q4 2017.

The award recognises Duxbury's successes in using social media platforms and opportunities to market Cambium products and solutions.

The announcement was made by Karyn Pastorino, senior manager at Cambium's, Global Channel Marketing and Operations department.

She commends Duxbury's social media marketing efforts, particularly those related to Cambium's product portfolio, and urges the organisation to share the secrets of its success with Cambium's partner community.

Teresa Huysamen, Wireless Business Unit manager at Duxbury Networking, says the award is just reward for her team's accomplishments. "We did not undertake a specific marketing campaign with winning the award in mind. Rather, it has come from the collective results of our ongoing promotional activities for Cambium, which we acknowledge as one of our premium brands.

"At Duxbury, we are committed to grow and educate our channel. When it comes to Cambium, our strategy is to focus on the most productive and effective use of the multiple social media platforms available to us to share relevant information with our dealer partners as soon as it becomes available."

Huysamen adds the Duxbury marketing team is proud and honoured that its hard work and time spent on creative marketing activities have been internationally recognised. "Most importantly, it means that we are succeeding in our goals to communicate effectively, increase awareness for the Cambium brand and engage with our channel partners to help them realise their business goals."
