Xantium Technology Holdings, a black empowered IT firm, has won a R12 million contract with gold producer Harmony.

Following its merger with Armgold last year, Harmony required a technology infrastructure implementation to align its business processes, ensuring standardisation and collaboration, and complementing its existing infrastructure.

Xantium Professional Services, a division of Xantium Technology Holdings, analysed Harmony`s existing infrastructure to ensure that a compatible process design was developed and implemented.

Xantium Technology Holdings has partnered with Microsoft, HP and Computer Associates for the project. As part of the implementation, Harmony and Xantium will employ 10 graduate students to participate in the implementation of the project over the next eight months, to give them additional technical and business skills.
