Enterprise cloud computing company Nutanix has introduced Elevate, a global partner programme it says is designed to redefine the partner engagement journey.

Built on its existing partner programme, Elevate will bring together Nutanix’s global partner ecosystem – value-added resellers and value-added distributors; service providers and telcos; hyperscalers; independent software, hardware and platform vendors; global system integrators; and services delivery partners – under one integrated architecture.

The programme aims to simplify engagement for Nutanix’s entire partner ecosystem using a consistent set of tools, resources and marketing platforms provided in the new Nutanix Partner Portal.

Additional enhancements include a new Performance+ Deal Registration tool.

This consistency of experience and support also extends to programme nomenclature – bringing together all partner organisations under a single Elevate programme brand and badging structure.

Fatima Mkandla, channel sales manager at Nutanix Sub-Saharan Africa, said customers are calling for multi-cloud adoption. “We’re taking our partners on this journey of transformation, and our Elevate programme aims to help our partners with this, as well boost subscription-based sales.”

She said Nutanix is giving its channel partners the latest tools that equip them with the business intelligence and enables them to service the market at a level that is required from a technology perspective. “It is a great enhancement, and I think it's going to be very well received by our partners. It also aims to enhance profitability for our customers, looking at upfront margins as well as the services related to the transformation of multi-cloud, because we see a huge services opportunity and want to help our partners to take advantage of that.”

Christian Alvarez, SVP of Worldwide Channels at Nutanix, said the company’s vision has always been about simplicity, from the technology it innovates to the way it does business. With Elevate,  it wants to assist partners to leverage market shifts towards subscription-based, multi-product, multi-cloud delivery of IT.

In the beginning, the Elevate Partner Programme will roll-out benefits for the channel community, with further programme expansion reaching additional partner organisations in the year ahead. These upcoming elements will include updated competencies and solution validation options for alliance partners, flexible pricing models and simplified billing for service providers, and robust development resources for service delivery partners.
