Forrester hosts EA Forum

Designed for enterprise architects, the inaugural Forrester Enterprise Architecture (EA) Forum is well-suited for business analysts and consultants and other professionals that play a role in driving IT innovation, says Trading Markets.

The forum will demonstrate to attendees how a well-executed enterprise architecture programme can accelerate value delivery using technology trends, such as service-oriented architecture (SOA), business process management, and Web 2.0.

The forum will take place on 7 to 8 February in San Diego, California.

ZapThink hosts SOA Summit

ZapThink will host a Practical SOA conference focused on the energy and utilities industry in Houston, Texas, on 5 February, according to PR Leap.

The Practical SOA event series is targeted at companies and individuals in the energy and utilities industries looking for usable business case studies and value propositions for SOA.

"Companies are tired of all the hype surrounding Web services and SOA, and are finding it difficult to learn what they really need to know from vendor-centric conferences and training," said Ronald Schmelzer, managing partner with ZapThink.
