Inspired Testing proves Fort Knox-like security to ISO… twice

Dynamic Technologies’ group company, Inspired Testing, has – for the second time – achieved one of the most difficult-to-retain information security management certifications: The ISO/IEC 27001 certificate, which demonstrates that a company can be trusted with information because it has sufficient effective controls in place to protect it.

ISO standards support “better business, better regulation, better products and services”, according to ISO.org, and ISO 27001 ensures compliance with evolving global information security legislation.

The promulgation of the POPI Act in South Africa in July 2021, as well as the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of 2018, have modernised laws that protect the personal information of individuals, strengthening their rights and giving them greater control over their personal information. These regulations, combined with the ever-growing threat of cyber breaches, cyber crime and malware require companies with internet access to ensure their security management systems are able to protect their customers’ and other stakeholders’ data.
