DCC extends enterprise offering to the channel

Johannesburg, 11 Dec 2020

Drive Control Corporation (DCC) has extended its product offering by securing the distribution rights to Dell EMC’s high-end data management and protection platforms, a move that represents the next step in a relationship between the two companies that has lasted over 12 years.

Available to the southern African channel with immediate effect, the Dell EMC Enterprise offering includes the company’s comprehensive range of end-to-end enterprise solutions that enable and equip companies on their digital transformation journey.

“We are excited with these important additions to our channel offering. Dell Technologies continues to offer truly innovative and ground-breaking solutions to the market and now we can form part of this value proposition to a highly competitive channel environment,” says Jaco Erasmus, Enterprise Manager: Dell EMC department at DCC.

“We live in a data first era and how you take advantage of, manage and protect your data are key ingredients to a successful business. This portfolio addition gives us the ability to offer our partners a solution to their customers' data management and protection needs, and helps them unlock the true value of their data.”

Key to DCC’s enterprise solution offering to the channel is Dell’s Enterprise Storage family, which covers a comprehensive range of storage solutions for primary structured and unstructured storage as well as data protection.

Dell’s primary storage solutions provide resellers with the scalability, intelligence and cloud integration required to unlock organisations’ data. They encompass a comprehensive set of products, which include PowerFlex, PowerMax, PowerStore, Unity XT, PowerVault and the SC Series.

Dell PowerStore, for example, integrates automation, next-generation technology and a novel software architecture to deliver infrastructure that helps organisations address their digital transformation challenges.

In a time where unstructured storage is seeing rapid growth, Dell’s unstructured storage offering provides flexible, easy-to-manage solutions that include the PowerScale/Isilon and ECS product ranges.

PowerScale has been engineered with industry-leading storage software and server hardware to set a new industry standard for how organisations capture and capitalise on unstructured data, such as documents, images, videos and social media content.
