Acer Africa unveils online portal for partners

Acer Africa has introduced Synergy, a rewards-based programme that will assist its partners to reach their internal and sales targets.

According to the Taiwanese hardware and electronics corporation, the online portal aims to motivate resellers to reach certain goals every quarter and it also offers tools such as incentives and training, to make these goals achievable.

Synergy utilises a tiered rebate system which consists of three levels: Synergy Silver (Acer spend of R0 - R299 999 per quarter); Synergy Gold (Acer spend of R300 000 - R1 999 999 per quarter) and Synergy Platinum (Acer spend of R2 000 000 and more per quarter)

Acer says its business model has an exclusive focus on the channel, and it is designed to support partners to meet their customer needs. In addition to the portal performing goal-orientated functions, Acer also assigns its representatives to each client, ensuring that each project performs optimally and achieves its end goal.

The programme is conceptualised and implemented by the Acer Reseller Team made up of Shannon Naidu, Ivan Eve and Jack Mainetja has worked tirelessly to ensure a seamless programme that is user friendly.

"Synergy is designed for all our partners and its customers at all levels. The offer relies on compelling tools and channel programmes that are specifically designed to facilitate business and communication," explains Naidu.

The company says it has always been dedicated to the development and advancement of the digital age, contemporary design and technology, and continues this assurance by encouraging brand loyalty and education of its plight in the market.

"We strive to provide the best possible outcome throughout the fiscal year as well as ensuring a seamless transition between campaigns," says Mainetja.

The assigned account manager, he explains, evaluates the system judiciously and monitors behavioural patterns on a daily basis.

In addition, the Acer's Synergy Partner Program, provides a wide range of benefits and instruments designed to market Acer's products and solutions effectively and to maximise opportunities, according to the company.

The Acer Synergy programme is open for all resellers to join besides retailers.
