Tyler bags two-city deal

Tyler Technologies has signed agreements to implement its financial management solution for the cities of Asheville, in North Carolina, and Binghamton, New York, says Ad Hoc News.

The two contracts, which are together valued at approximately $2 million (R19.5 million), include software licences, corresponding professional services, maintenance and support.

Asheville plans to deploy a comprehensive package of Tyler's Munis financial applications, as well as human resource-related applications such as payroll with employee self-service. Binghamton has also invested in Munis financial applications and has opted to deploy its Tyler applications using the role-tailored dashboard option.

Deltek partners with Lumigent

Deltek has gone into a reselling partnership with Lumigent Technologies, a GRC control systems for financial applications developer, reports PR Web.

The enterprise applications software provider has integrated Lumigent's AppGRC solution for managing risk and compliance with Costpoint, delivering a solution for project accounting, financial management, and corporate governance. Deltek will become the sole distributor of Lumigent's solution.

"We are extremely pleased to add Lumigent's industry-leading functionality to our Costpoint offering," says Jim Rogers, Deltek's VP of product marketing for government contracting. "Our customers look to Deltek to provide a comprehensive solution and supporting government compliance is central to our mission."

CBO deploys MetricStream solution

The Central Bank of Oman (CBO) is deploying MetricStream's enterprise-wide governance, risk, compliance and quality management solution to automate its business processes related to audits management, states CIOL.

MetricStream senior director Shankar Bhaskaran says the CBO will use the solution to manage complete audit life cycles including risk-based audit planning and scheduling, development of standard audit plans and checklists, among other processes.

The CBO says it selected MetricStream's solution for its ability to provide powerful workflows and key metrics around audits function and most importantly, it will help it automate risk-based audits along with risk assessment methodologies.
