Zero trust approach to cyber security eliminates all implicit trust, making sure that all users, regardless of whether they are inside or outside the company’s network, are authenticated, authorised, and continually validated.
With zero trust, there is no traditional network perimeter, and the framework operates on the premise that networks can be on-premises, in the cloud, or both, with resources and workers geographically dispersed.
However, zero trust can’t be achieved by simply implementing a technology solution – it can be a complex, multi-year programme, and while 85% of organisations have already defined zero trust initiatives, they often don’t know where to start.
