Technology giant Dell's sixth annual PartnerDirect Solutions Conference kicked off yesterday in Brussels.
Dell founder and CEO, Michael Dell, reaffirmed the company's commitment to the channel, and awarded nine EMEA premier and preferred partners that have demonstrated "excellent customer solutions and significant growth" throughout 2014.
He also stressed the importance of the channel to the organisation's long-term business strategy and said it had experienced "impressive growth and momentum" of the Dell channel in the EMEA region and around the globe in general.
The conference brought together Dell's preferred and premier partners to celebrate the continued growth of the PartnerDirect programme. Dell currently has 158 premier-level partners in the EMEA region.
"Our partners are an integral part of the Dell story, and when they succeed, Dell succeeds. We're investing in our channel partners and growing our businesses together. It's exciting, but even more so when you consider the opportunities ahead."
Laurent Binetti, Dell vice-president and general manager EMEA channel sales, added the company is continuing its efforts to make it as easy as possible for its partners to do business with Dell.
"We look forward to continuing our work with the channel, to ensure the success and growth that Dell's PartnerDirect programme has experienced over the past few years, continues well into the future," Binetti concluded.
