IT Naledi Solutions today announced that it has created a dedicated cabling division within the company.
"We have been involved with cabling for some two years and have built up significant expertise in this area," explained Hashiem Bardien, Sales and Marketing Director at IT Naledi Solutions, "and it now makes sense to create a division to focus on this type of activity and to bring in-house that which we had been outsourcing previously in this area."
"In the retail sector, where there is often a massive distributed environment, users often require a 'one-stop' partner for their IT support," continued Bardien. "We wanted to ensure that we don't miss out on these opportunities and other similar ones that will be occurring in other sectors of the market.
"Although we are involved with voice and data cabling as well as PABX installation and support, we particularly focus on the building of WiFi networks and the installation and support of fibre optic cables, the latter often replacing copper cables that are internal within buildings" concluded Bardien. "This includes a host of activities and services but most importantly, the design and consulting re IT connectivity infrastructure and the project management of the implementation of IT infrastructure. Not surprisingly we also ensure that we adhere to all the relevant de facto standards that exist in this field and utilise componentry from the internationally recognised players."
IT Naledi has completed several certifications re the above activities including those of Kroner, Molex, Panduit, Ruckus Wireless and Systimax. It has also invested heavily so that it can undertake fibre optic installations; and thus, now has capabilities for its own fibre-optic splicing, testing and certification.
