Performanta has made some core structure changes effective from 1 August 2013.
Attie Booyens moved from the CTO role into the COO position, and Enlin Neveling assumed the CTO position.
These changes have been in discussion for quite some time, with Performanta growing so quickly we realised the COO role was becoming a definite requirement in order to take care of the overall day-to-day operational management of the company.
Enlin Neveling, apart from his CTO duties, will also head up Performanta Technologies since the current MD, Russell Young, is engaged in a long-term project and not available to fill this role. Performanta Technologies consists of a strong team of product specialists and product managers and is responsible for technology pre-sales support, architecture, deployment, training and second-level support.
In recent months, there have also been some new and significant additions to the "Purple Team". Firstly, Christo van Staden (previously McAfee SA) joined Performanta as Sales and Business Development Manager. Already, we experience more structure and focus in the sales team; customers will also experience better and more consistent account management in the future.
Secondly, Erica Grobler (previously Standard Bank SA) joined us as Service Manager. Grobler is a highly structured, motivated and well-loved person and much needed to bring our services offering to new levels.
