Oracle SA`s Kelvin Reynolds has resigned after just over two years as managing director and just under five months as vice-president within the organisation.
A statement from Oracle SA says Reynolds has resigned with immediate effect to pursue his own business interests in the broader ICT sector.
At the time of his promotion to VP late in May this year, Reynolds said his work in SA was far from finished and he had no plans for any additional offshore responsibilities.
Reynolds, who was the first South African to achieve VP status within Oracle, held various senior management positions within Oracle SA before being appointed MD.
Reynolds` predecessor, Robin Morello, also vacated the post as MD of Oracle SA after only two years.
Oracle Ireland MD Nicky Sheridan has been appointed acting MD for Oracle SA. Sheridan has worked for Oracle for 15 years in a variety of positions within Oracle`s global operations.
